SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY 

9.30am – Best turned out will be judged on the grass next to the parade carpark park.

10am – Ride called to order and head into the barracks square for the stirrup cup served and supplied by Berwick-upon-Tweed Town Council.

10.30am – Chief marshall Laura Hunter will lead the cavalcade down Berwick high street to the town hall.

11.10am – Ride will arrive at the Jingling Bridge for the first canter.

*Viewing point 

11.45am – Ride will arrive at the “ditch” and canter along the border wall.

*Viewing point 

12.25am – Ride will cross duns cross road.

*Viewing point 

1pm – Ride will canter into Baldersbury.

*Viewing point

1.10pm – The ride will split as passing Gainslaw Hill Farm, riders may head in for the half way break or continue for the Gallops.

1.30pm – Ride will partake in Gallop up to Canty’s Bridge, then onto the half way stop.

2.30pm – All trotting races to take place at the bottom of the half way field.

2.50pm – Ride called to order and leave to head back into Berwick via Baldersbury.

3.50pm – Chief Marshall Laura Hunter leads the ride back down castlegate to the town hall.

4pm – Ride finished and all are welcome to the town hall for our after ride presentation and celebration – refreshments, bar and music.

HALF WAY PARKING!!! 
All parking for halfway must be in Gainslaw Hill Farm field and not on the hard standing or on the road side. Marshals will be in attendance to point you in the correct direction. Donation will be required upon entering.
