Alnwick-based restaurant Sher Khan took the top spot last month in the English Curry Awards 2025.
It was also crowned the best of its kind in the North East.
Now the owners are bringing their top Indian cooking to Tweedmouth.
The opening date is hoped to be around 25 September.
