The next meeting of Berwick Electors to discuss issues affecting the town is on 29 May. The Town Council facilitates the meeting which is not a Council meeting. As in all towns, the residents are, in fact, in charge of the town’s destiny. If they show up.

Whether positive or negative opinions; it’s essential that people step out from behind their keyboard and help set the direction for Berwick.

The new Mayor of the new Town Council will present a review of the Council’s work over the last year and will give the Council’s plans for the next year. This is the opportunity for residents to debate the town’s priorities:

Has the High Street appearance improved?
What is the future of the Salmon Queen festival now there is no festival committee?
Is there adequate transparency provided on council spending and Precept rises?
Other matters?

Anyone with a matter to submit in advance can write to The Bridge at [email protected], or the Chief Officer at [email protected], or come along to contribute to the discussion on the night.

SPEAK UP ABOUT THE DECISIONS WHICH AFFECT BERWICK.
YOUR VOICE MATTERS.

WHEN: 6pm, Thursday 29 May 2025

WHERE: NORTHERN VIEW, Spittal, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 2JU
