Having planned weekend strikes through September, October and November the industrial action is now off.
‘LNER and ASLEF have reached a positive agreement, meaning industrial action has been cancelled,’ says a statement on the LNER website, concluding:
There is no further impact to LNER trains and our normal weekend timetables will resume on Saturday 7 September.’
