The Bridge match-fundraising campaign has launched in a bid to raise a total of £2,000 before the end of June.

£200 was raised during Indie News Week and the remainder has to be sourced in order to receive a match-fund pledge of £2,000 from the Public Interest News Foundation (PINF).

‘It’s a great chance for The Bridge to secure its short-term future,’ said The Bridge editor, Wendy Robertson. ‘After a year of hand-to-mouth survival it would be wonderful to have a buffer for a few weeks.’

The Bridge launched sixteen months ago and is currently printed every two months with a youtube channel, Instagram and Facebook pages starting to provide visual news.

The progress bar below indicates the total so far – online and offline donations combined.
